Ahead of the visit, the project team carefully planned the tour route and key briefing points, assigning technical specialists to accompany the group throughout. During the visit, the team introduced the project's overall planning, current construction progress, key construction methods, and advanced technologies, while also answering students' technical questions. The experience offered participants a close-up view of CSCEC's engineering expertise and rigorous approach.

Student Surnesh shared that the visit provided a much clearer and more intuitive understanding of tunnel construction processes and technical aspects, going beyond classroom theory. He added that the experience strengthened his career aspirations and his desire to contribute to infrastructure development in Nepal after graduation.

The tunnel is a key transport corridor linking southern Nepal's urban clusters with the country's second-largest city, Pokhara. Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly improve the regional transport network and promote economic connectivity and cooperation.
