Recently, the main structure of the Afreximbank Africa Trade Centre project, built by CSCEC, was topped out in Kampala, Uganda.

At the topping-out ceremony, Patrick, a representative of the project owner, commended the project team for its strong performance in safety management, construction quality, resource coordination, and schedule control since work began. He encouraged the team to maintain the same high standards throughout the remaining stages of construction.

The project spans around 0.98 hectares with a total floor area exceeding about 51,000 square meters. It includes an eight-story office building, a 12-story serviced apartment tower, and a three-level underground parking facility.
Once completed, the project will enhance the area's business and commercial services, helping facilitate China-Africa economic and trade cooperation while contributing to local economic and social development.
The project team has always prioritized safety and quality, implementing rigorous controls over key construction processes. The project was awarded the 2026 International Safety Award.
