A groundbreaking ceremony has been held for the rehabilitation of the section of the National Route 4 project in the Republic of the Congo. The project is being built by CSCEC and was attended by Denis Sassou-Nguesso, President of Republic of the Congo.

The 15.437-kilometer project is designed to improve the transport network in the Pointe-Noire area, enhance port logistics efficiency and support industrial development and public services along the corridor. Works include road rehabilitation, drainage systems, bridges and culverts. Upon completion, the project is expected to strengthen regional connectivity and contribute to the country’s economic and social development.

The ceremony was widely covered by major media outlets in both China and the Republic of the Congo.
