The R1029 Island Project in Dubai, built by CSCEC, has achieved a major construction milestone with the completion of the eighth and final large-scale transfer structure concrete pour for the hotel’s main tower.

Located in the core area of a man-made island in Dubai, near the Burj Al Arab, the project includes four five-star hotels and a supporting commercial center. It is positioned as a new waterfront landmark developed by CSCEC in the Gulf market.

The transfer structure poured in this phase features beams measuring up to 5.5 meters in depth, 2.5 meters in width and 60 meters in length. The maximum self-weight of a single floor slab is approximately 9,400 tons, with about 1,200 tons of reinforcing steel used. The structure represents technical advances in span, height and load capacity compared with conventional designs.
