Malabo National Park in Equatorial Guinea

On June 4, the opening ceremony of Malabo National Park in Equatorial Guinea was held. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, attended the ribbon cutting ceremony, unveiled the statue in the park and wrote an inscription. Cabinet members and diplomatic missions in Equatorial Guinea attended the ceremony.

Malabo National Park is the first comprehensive urban park in Central Africa, the construction of the park started in October 2011 and was completed in October 2015. Covering an area of 870,000 square meters, the park is a comprehensive urban park integrating natural landscape, recreation, sports and education.
