The Malacca Impression Opera Theatre, Malaysia, built by CSCEC, is the largest public building in Malacca. The whole building is square, with simple blue external walls and white façade, echoing the blue sky and white clouds in the Straits of Malacca, and it is really beautiful.
Malacca Impression Opera Theatre has a total construction area of 68,796.5 square meters, with 6 floors, a net height of 33.6 meters and a stage area of over 1,200 square meters. It is the largest individual public building in Malacca and it can accommodate 2,007 people. It is the first cultural tourism project completed under the Belt and Road Initiative. The design is to "link the sea and the sky, embrace diversity", and it is the first 360-degree rotating stage for the "impression theatre" series abroad, which can provide all-round visual experience for every audience.
