Recently, the Geylang C14 HDB project (Dakota One) in Singapore, undertaken by CSCEC, won the top safety award in the residential category at the Housing & Development Board (HDB) Construction Safety Award 2026. It also marked another milestone for the project team, following their success in winning the WSH SHARP Safety Award in 2025.

The HDB's annual Construction Safety Award is the highest honor for all ongoing and completed HDB projects, and a major event in the construction industry. This year, only two projects received this award.

The Geylang HDB project was completed in June 2025 after four years of construction. The team overcame numerous challenges and achieved zero workplace injuries throughout the construction period.

Meanwhile, the Woodlands Checkpoint Infrastructure project won the JTC Construction Safety & Health Award 2026 in the infrastructure project category.
