Recently, three architectural projects designed by CSCEC were recognized at the 2026 MUSE Design Awards.
The Sichuan Hall of Historic Figures and the Douban Museum won Platinum awards at the MUSE Design Awards, while the Dhi Qar Province Medical City in Iraq received a Gold award.

Located in the central business district of Tianfu New Area in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, the Sichuan Hall of Historic Figures combines exhibition spaces, cultural experiences and public facilities. Guided by green building principles, the design seamlessly integrates architecture and nature, creating a sustainable public space in a high-density urban environment.

The Douban Museum is nestled among traditional rural settlements on the Chengdu Plain in Pidu District, Chengdu. Built with locally appropriate materials, the museum serves as a bridge between the region's landscape and cultural heritage. Its design draws inspiration from traditional dwellings while meeting contemporary functional needs.

Located in Nasiriyah, the Dhi Qar Province Medical City offers an innovative approach to healthcare infrastructure in a tropical desert climate. The project's passive-design strategy was developed through integrated analyses of energy performance and natural lighting. By optimizing building forms and site layout, the design achieves a balance between energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness and constructability.
Organized by the International Awards Associate, the MUSE Design Awards are among the most prestigious honors in the global creative and design industry. The awards aim to advance creativity across the global design industry and drive sustainable development within the sector.
