Recently, the main structure of Section 2, Phase 1 of the Macao-Hengqin Innovation Industrial Park, built by CSCEC, was topped out.

Upon completion, the project will serve as a model for the "industrial upstairs" development concept, which maximizes land-use efficiency, in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province.

Covering a total floor area of approximately 275,000 square meters, the project includes production facilities, a supporting services center, a wastewater treatment station, an urban exhibition hall, and covered walkways.

To tackle the challenges posed by soft coastal soil, the project team developed an innovative foundation solution that uses weathered granite as the bearing layer for its high strength and structural stability, significantly increasing the load-bearing capacity of individual piles.

The project has also adopted an integrated smart cloud platform and digital command center to create a smart construction site management system. AI-powered detection and data collection systems have been incorporated into all key safety management processes, enhancing on-site safety through real-time digital oversight.

Guided by green construction principles throughout its entire lifecycle, the project has implemented low-carbon building practices at every stage. Reusable and recyclable materials have been prioritized, while carbon emissions have been strictly managed during construction, helping establish a new benchmark for low-carbon industrial park development.
