The community renovation project in Hanzhuangzi Sanli, Beijing, built by CSCEC, has been officially completed.

Located in Fengtai District of Beijing, the residential community was originally built in the 1980s. The renovation covered building upgrades, underground utility relocation, landscape improvements and the refurbishment of public areas. Upon completion, the project will provide more than 2,000 residents with a renewed living environment and benefit 13 surrounding communities, serving a population of over 10,000 people.

Through low-disturbance and phased construction techniques, the project team completed interior plumbing upgrades and refurbishment works while residents remained in their homes, minimizing disruption to daily life. To address issues such as cluttered corridors and exposed wiring in shared areas, the team carried out targeted clean-up and renovation works, improving safety and enabling barrier-free access. Idle spaces were also revitalized to create distributed charging and parking areas, helping the aging community adapt to greener mobility.
