2024 "Happy Chinese New Year" grand parade was held in Dubai, UAE Feb 3. People from all walks of life gathered under the Burj Khalifa to welcome the Year of the Dragon. CSCEC Middle East participated in the parade for the fifth year, sending more than 20 employees to celebrate this festive season with the audience and the "Lanbao", the mascot of CSCEC.

It's my first time to experience a Chinese New Year parade. I hope I can see more of their culture.

CSCEC’s mascot, "Lanbao," was very popular among parade attendees, and visitors were eager to take photos with them. CSCEC Middle East also set up a booth inside the park, complete with games, postcards and other gifts, inviting people to stop by and learn about CSCEC.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE, and the fifth year that the Chinese New Year parade has been held in Dubai. There were 3,500 participants from over 60 organizations and companies, and attracted about 25,000 visitors.
