Du Xiaohui, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, recently visited the CSCEC-built 103-kilometer road project in Muchinga Province, Zambia. During the visit, Du was accompanied by relevant project directors from CSCEC.
The project is located in the northern border region of Zambia. Covering a total length of 103 kilometers, the project involves upgrading and transforming the existing road into a high-grade asphalt concrete road. This project serves as a vital artery linking Zambia and Tanzania and serves as an international gateway for Zambia. It plays a pivotal role in fostering Zambia's economic development, often referred to as a "golden road" project. Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly enhance the transportation along its route, effectively driving Zambia's economic and social progress.
