The expanded agricultural school in Atlántida, Honduras, built by CSCEC, opened in December 2025, strengthening local agricultural education.

The principal of the school said, new labs for dairy, meat, and fruit and vegetable processing allow students to practice standardized production and produce high-quality products through hands-on practice. “These facilities are driving progress in Honduran agriculture,” he added.
The agricultural school in Atlántida is one of six agricultural schools upgraded under China- Honduras cooperation program. Together covering about 6,150 square meters, the projects include new classrooms, training spaces, and supporting facilities—expanding access to quality vocational education for rural youth. All six schools are now complete and officially handed over.
