The Improvements of Al Shindaga Corridor Phase 2D Double Deck Road on Corniche Street has been awarded the Best Mega Project in the 3rd edition of the Excellence and Creative Engineering Award held recently at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library in Dubai.

This project adopted the "semi-suspended, semi-rolling combination system for segmental prefabrication" construction during the bridge erection process. The project also integrated green and environmentally friendly practices along with smart information management, which were applied throughout the production, transportation, and erection of the precast bridge segments.

The Excellence and Creative Engineering Award, part of the UAE Centennial Plan 2071,  is organized by the UAE Society of Engineers. It aims to recognize successful innovative practices in engineering and highlight achievements of organizations and individuals in the field.
