Nepal's Prime Minister visits completion ceremony of Siddhababa Tunnel

On January 24, 2025, Nepal's Siddhababa Tunnel, undertaken by CSCEC, was successfully completed in Lumbini Province, Nepal. Nepalese Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli attended the completion ceremony.

Prime Minister Oli expressed congratulations on the tunnel's breakthrough, emphasizing its significant role in enhancing Nepal's transportation network and facilitating economic exchanges between the southern and northern regions. He noted that the project would substantially improve the safety and efficiency of national travel.

The Siddhababa Tunnel, located on the Siddhartha Highway in Palpa, Lumbini Province, is a key infrastructure project connecting the southern urban areas to Pokhara, Nepal's second-largest city. The tunnel will promote local economic development after completion.
