Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Meghna Tower project and the unveiling of the Up We Build (UWB) College were held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The event was attended by over 200 guests, including Mostafa Kamal, Chairman of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), Tanveer Mostofa Kamal, Director of MGI and representatives from major Bangladeshi media outlets.
Tanveer Mostofa Kamal commended CSCEC for its outstanding performance on the Meghna Tower project and expressed strong expectations for further collaboration.
The unveiling of the UWB College marks an important step in addressing the project's construction needs while fostering skilled talent for Bangladesh’s future development. The college aims to serve as a bridge for technical cooperation, talent development, and cultural exchange between China and Bangladesh, helping local workers and managers improve their skills.
Notably, the Meghna Tower Project is Bangladesh’s first ultra-high-rise building utilizing the top-down construction method. Planned to have 39 above-ground floors and 6 underground levels, the tower is set to become a new landmark in the country upon completion.
