Recently, Kuwait hosted the Housing and Urban Development Forum 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Kuwait. The forum focused on housing and urban development in Kuwait, bringing together government officials, investors, developers, industry experts and representatives from construction firms. Discussions covered investment in and development of new residential cities, commercial and service facilities, and public-private partnerships.

CSCEC sent a professional team from its Kuwait company to attend the forum. Representatives discussed urban planning, engineering construction, and prefabricated and modular construction technologies with other attendees. They also gained insights into local demand for housing development, urban infrastructure and project delivery.

At the forum's exhibition area, CSCEC presented its capabilities and projects through a dedicated booth featuring brochures, project photos and thematic displays of its global construction capabilities and project experience in Kuwait.

Several flagship projects took center stage: Central Bank of Kuwait New Headquarters Building, Sabah AlSalem University City of Kuwait University, the South Sabah Al-Ahmad New City Project 1563, and the North Kabd Wastewater Treatment Plant and Related Works Project. Together, they highlight CSCEC's expertise in public buildings, education facilities, new city infrastructure, and water and environmental engineering.

Displays featuring modular construction, smart construction methods and new materials further demonstrated the company's technical readiness to support Kuwait's housing and urban development.

The forum gave CSCEC a chance to showcase its capabilities and experience in Kuwait. It also helped the company better understand Kuwait's urban development needs, strengthen industry exchanges and explore new opportunities for cooperation.
