Recently, CSCEC's youth volunteer team leader Liu Shaobo and Egyptian employee Salsabil Abdelaziz Hassan spoke at the 2026 World Youth Development Forum in Wuhan, Hubei Province, sharing how the company's overseas projects are strengthening ties with local communities.

The forum, now in its fifth year in China, drew more than 500 participants this year, including youth ministers, heads of youth organizations, key figures involved in youth development programs, and outstanding young representatives from various fields — representing UN agencies, 12 international youth organizations, and more than 120 countries.

During the opening ceremony, Salsabil joined youth delegates from other countries in a "youth declaration," pledging to use young people's energy to drive shared development and promote cross-cultural exchange.

Liu spoke at a forum session on volunteering and poverty reduction, describing how CSCEC's volunteer team has focused on the real needs of communities in Egypt to carry out a range of volunteer programs.
Established in June 2023 with Chinese and local employees, the volunteer team now has 36 members and has logged about 600 hours of service. It has become an important platform for Chinese and Egyptian employees to volunteer together while helping the company build closer ties with local communities.
