Recently, the Urban Resilience Unit, RAJUK Bangladesh, constructed by CSCEC, was successfully completed and handed over. Representatives from the Bangladesh Capital Development Authority and the American design and supervision partner observed the final inspection.
The project features a steel-reinforced concrete structure, with a total construction area of approximately 12,300 square meters, comprising 10 floors above ground and 2 underground. The building incorporates advanced technologies such as smart lighting, energy-efficient air conditioning, and rainwater harvesting. It will serve as Bangladesh's earthquake disaster emergency response center, as well as a hub for urban disaster prevention and mitigation research, training, and testing.
