Recently, Jean Jacques Bouya, Minister of Development, Territorial Equipment and Public Works visited the rehabilitation, restoration, and upgrade project of the National Route 4 undertaken by CSCEC, marking his first visit since the project began four months ago. The minister was accompanied by the Mayor of Pointe-Noire.
During the visit, Minister Bouya visited the construction site at the PK2 drainage channel and heard a detailed report on the project’s basic progress, challenges, and upcoming plans, specifically focusing on the PK3 culvert construction area.
The National Route 4 project, which spans approximately 10 kilometers, involves road repairs, drainage system construction, and upgrades to supporting traffic infrastructure. This initiative will significantly improve local traffic conditions, enhance mobility for citizens, and create numerous job opportunities for surrounding areas, contributing to the social and economic development of Pointe-Noire.
