Recently, CSCEC volunteers took part in the UNESCO's World Heritage Volunteer. The program, initiated by the Cheng Ho Cultural Museum, was named "WHV – Cheng Ho and Maritime Silk Road Heritage Melaka Campaign", with more than 20 volunteers from countries including Italy, Australia, Japan, Morocco, Singapore, France, and China.
During the event, Francesco, the global director of WHV, expressed that it is glad to have a Fortune 500 construction company like CSCEC participate in the program. It is hoped that CSCEC and WHV will conduct cooperation in the future to pass on the concept of heritage preservation to the next generation.
The World Heritage Volunteer (WHV) is approved by the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and is held annually at world heritage sites as a significant program under the World Heritage Education Programme.
