Located on the banks of the Mekong River in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the China-aided hospital in Cambodian, built by China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), serves as an important symbol of the profound friendship between the Chinese and Cambodian people. It is a modern comprehensive teaching hospital mainly focusing on surgery with 400 beds. A helipad, which is about 24 meters in diameter and with a construction area of 487 square meters, was built on the top of the building. The hospital has a three-dimensional and a ground-to-air medical system, which will be able to meet the medial needs of the locals. It is the first modern public hospital with low energy consumption and high quality in Cambodia. The main and secondary structures of the hospital have been completed recently and passed the mid-term inspection.
