A grand opening ceremony for TIPAZA Project contracted by CSCEC was held on November 2. The Minister of Interior and the Minister of Public Works attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon.

The ministers’ motorcade started to run from the jumping-off of the new road at 10 a.m.. When asked about their comments on the TIPAZA road and Chinese people, the minister said the answers are on the road. Nearly all major media in Algeria have reported the opening ceremony.

TIPAZA Expressway, 48 kilometers, is the first large infrastructure project CSCEC contracted in Algeria. Mr. Liu Yuhe, Chinese Ambassador to Algeria, Algerian Minister of Public Works and the Governor of TIPAZA province have inspected the project many times during its construction.
