Supporting Projects of Dubai Expo

The Integrated Design and Construction Project of the China Pavilion at Dubai World Expo: Named "light of China", the China pavilion is shaped like a traditional Chinese lantern, which means hope and bright. The total construction area is about 6,700 square meters, and the façade uses traditional Chinese lattice windows and the cultural elements of the Four Great Inventions of Ancient China to show the profound and rich Chinese culture. With the theme of building a community with a shared future—innovation and opportunity, the China Pavilion exhibits the innovative achievements in Chinese technology and communication, which has fully expressed the perfect combination of traditional Chinese culture and innovative technologies, and promoted the Belt and Road Initiative and the idea of building a community with a shared future.

The entire station uses about 5,500 tons of steel. The Dubai Metro 2020 is a 15 kilometers long extension of the Dubai Metro Red Line with 7 stations, terminating at Dubai Expo 2020 Metro Station, which will accommodate 46,000 passengers per hour in both directions for Expo 2020 Dubai.
