The project includes a new terminal with a construction area of 200,000 square meters, a new apron of 390,000 square meters, a parking lot, an elevated bridge and a new energy center. With an annual capacity of 10 million passengers, the project has met the A standard of the International Civil Aviation Organization. Together with the existing airport facilities, the project will make Houari Boumediene Airport the largest international airport in Africa.
