Recently, CSCEC, a leader in modular construction, participated in the 23rd China International Exposition of Housing Industry & Products and Equipment of Building Industrialization at Shougang Park in Beijing.
At the smart construction zone, CSCEC showcased its modular integrated construction (MiC) technology. By integrating digital and green technologies, the company is transforming the traditional construction industry. Its approach offers practical solutions and a forward-looking path for the sector's transformation and upgrading.

CSCEC's exhibition area is organized around good products, good services, good construction and good projects. It presents the entire modular construction process, from research and development to digital operations, and demonstrates a new approach to industrialized construction: building homes just like cars.

The company's showroom features the Dinghuisi project, Beijing's first concrete modular affordable housing project, in Haidian District. Most construction work was carried out at CSCEC's smart factory, where components were manufactured to millimeter-level precision. The finished modules were then transported to the site and lifted directly into place. The project is expected to take more than 50 percent less time to complete than traditional construction.

Once completed, the project will add 241 affordable apartments, fully furnished and ready for residents to move into.

CSCEC is one of China's earliest companies to adopt industrialized construction methods. It has completed 146 benchmark MiC projects across China, covering affordable housing, urban renewal, schools, hospitals and industrial parks.

CSCEC now operates 12 smart housing manufacturing bases nationwide. The exposition also featured a model of the company's smart construction industrial park in Tongzhou District, Beijing. The industrial park is the first of its kind in Beijing, as well as the city's first full-chain green building flagship store and first training base dedicated to modular construction. It has 16 production lines, with automation and digitalization rates of 70 percent and 100 percent, respectively.
