Recently, Canghai Kung Fu Town in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, was showcased at the 10th Conference of Hebei Tourism Industry Development. Built by CSCEC, it's China's first multisensory, immersive destination themed on martial arts.

The project covers about 85,333 square meters, with a floor area of 21,863 square meters. Drawing on Cangzhou's rich martial arts heritage, it gives traditional culture a modern twist. Through scene redesign, business upgrades and new content, the project has revitalized underused urban spaces, supported urban renewal and created new consumer experiences.

During holidays, costumed performers playing non-player characters (NPCs) bring immersive storylines to life throughout the destination. Hundreds of street performances are staged in rotation, while 174 shops, restaurants and other venues welcome visitors. A wide range of hands-on activities gives visitors a firsthand experience of Cangzhou's martial arts traditions.

The destination has attracted 160,000 visits to date, while online content about it has garnered more than 52.4 million views.
