The 2nd China-Egypt Forum on Sustainable Construction, hosted by CSCEC, was recently held in New Cairo, Egypt. More than 130 esteemed experts came together to share insights on China-Egypt cooperation and practices in smart cities and sustainable development.
The forum featured 11 thematic sessions on smart cities, intelligent construction, livable environments, and green growth, fostering meaningful exchanges on academic research, design innovations, case studies, and opportunities for bilateral collaboration. Experts from both China and Egypt warmly shared their latest research insights and project experiences.
At the event, CSCEC unveiled the CSCEC Egypt's Sustainable Development Report on Innovative Construction Technologies, available in Chinese, English, and Arabic. The report showcases key advancements such as C80 high-performance concrete, super high-rise construction techniques, BIM-based smart management systems, and green construction practices—innovations that are not only enhancing quality and efficiency but also supporting Egypt's building industry in moving toward a smarter and more sustainable future.
