Recently, the European Union, in collaboration with the government of the Republic of Congo and LCR, hosted a two-day experience-sharing forum on the concession operation project for No.1 National Highway in the Republic of Congo. Over 150 participants attended, including the economic commissioner of the Economic Community of Central African States, DRC's State Minister, Minister of Equipment and Public Works of the Central African Republic, Chinese Ambassador to Republic of Congo , and delegations from Cameroon, Gabon, and Chad, alongside EU representatives, government officials of the Republic of Congo , and representatives from transportation associations and private enterprises.
The delegation toured the No.1 National Highway’s facilities and toll stations, and LCR representatives briefed them on the highway's operation.
The forum, co-hosted by LCR, the EU, and the government of the Republic of Congo , presented the history and five-year operational success of the project. It highlighted the high-quality management and maintenance practices of the highway, offering valuable insights and replicable experience for other Central African nations.
