The Contract P103 – Design and Construction of Riviera Interchange Station and Tunnels, undertaken by the Taisei-CSCEC Joint Venture, has been awarded two Environmental Sustainability Innovation Awards by the Land Transport Authority of Singapore. 

One of the awards recognizes the successful implementation of battery-powered electric excavators on the project. This cutting-edge equipment has contributed to reducing carbon emissions and minimizing the environmental impact of the construction.

The second award was granted for the development and use of an innovative active noise reduction device, which effectively reduces noise pollution in urban construction settings.
