CSCEC is committed to an eco-friendly and green development philosophy, undertaking numerous projects that enhance the livability of urban and rural areas while supporting regional green and low-carbon development. Here are some highlighted projects:

Wujiagang Bridge over Yangtze River in Yichang

The area where the bridge is located is a vital habitat for endangered aquatic species, including the Yangtze river dolphin and Chinese sturgeon. To ensure that these endangered aquatic species can migrate and breed without disturbance, the bridge features a suspension design with a main span of 1,160 meters, allowing it to cross the river without constructing piers in the water. This summer, the bridge area has frequently showcased playful dolphins.

Wuhan East Lake Greenway

As China's second-largest lake in urban area of cities in China, East Lake has benefited from the sponge city concept, with the removal of 500,000 cubic meters of sediment to enhance its water retention and quality. The East Lake Greenway has been approved by UN-Habitat as a demonstration example that enhances the urban public space in China.

Tangxun Lake ecological restoration project in Wuhan

This project has established a 5,000-square-meter artificial floating wetland on the lake, marking significant progress in ecological restoration and water quality purification.

Wuhan Garden Expo Park

In just two years, CSCEC has completed ecological restoration on the site, creating a "city backyard" composed of 117 gardens, transforming it into a haven for many rare bird species.

1 Million Kilowatt photovoltaic project in Tacheng, Xinjiang,

Thousands of solar panels, resembling sunflowers, rotate slowly to track the sun. This project is expected to generate approximately 23 million megawatt-hours of electricity over 25 years, contributing to Xinjiang's economic growth and energy transformation.
