On the afternoon of 4th February, the "Witness Happiness ∙ CSCEC Carnival Night" Special Event was held in Burj Khalifa Park, a famous landmark in Dubai. H.E. Li Xuhang, Consul General of China in Dubai, Deputy Consul Generals Mr. Liu Zhengjie and Madam Wang Yi, Economic and Commercial Counsellor Mr. Wu Yi, President of CSCEC Middle East Tian Sanchuan, Vice Presidents Li Ye and Ni Beilei, Chief Compliance Officer Xiao Hua, Vice President Ma Wenlong and Chief Engineer Mansour Faried attended the event.

H.E. Li Xuhang said that CSCEC Middle East is an international leader in the construction industry and a witness and contributor to China- UAE friendly cooperation. Over the years, CSCEC Middle East has constructed many livelihood projects and iconic landmark buildings in the UAE, and focuses on green construction and smart construction, which has made significant contributions to the sustainable development of the region, won many awards from the UAE government, and received wide praise from all walks of life. "I hope that CSCEC Middle East will always keep its original mission, actively fulfill its social responsibility, and continue to contribute to CSCEC's strength in the areas of livelihood and economic development, people-to-people communication and sustainable development, and show the responsibility and commitment of Chinese enterprises with practical actions", H.E. Li Xuhang said.

Tian Sanchuan, President of CSCEC Middle East, said that the Company has constructed more than 120 livelihood and landmark projects over the past twenty years in this region. Quality is CSCEC’s top priority, which is not only a solemn commitment to our products but also a solemn commitment to the residents of the UAE to improve their living quality. In the future, CSCEC Middle East will continue to plow into the UAE market, carry out project construction with high quality, deliver products on schedule and with quality assurance, continue to help the regional economic development, and continuously build a happy living environment for the people in the region.

This year is the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE. To celebrate it, CSCEC Middle East has specially produced the song "Chinese in Dubai", which is not only a record of CSCEC Middle East's 20 years of rooting into the UAE but also a beautiful melody of CSCEC Middle East's positive response to the "One Belt, One Road" Initiative to expand the happiness of the people in China and the UAE.  

During the event, Chief Engineer Mansour showed the audience the advanced technologies of CSCEC ME, including 3D printing, green construction, etc.; Project managers of the Package 2A for Stage 2 of Etihad Rail Project, the Al Shindagha Corridor Project and the ADFA Project of Sabah Al-Salem Kuwait University City then told stories behind these miracles respectively.

At the event site, in front of Burj Khalifa Park, the team of Grande B4 project, a landmark building constructed by CSCEC Middle East, put up a Lunar New Year's banner from the building to send New Year's blessings. Students from Chinese School Dubai sang the song "Auld Lang Syne" in Chinese, English and Arabic, and the CSCEC employees sang the song "Ode to the Motherland", which pushed the atmosphere of the site to a climax.

In addition, the interactive ring toss game in front of CSCEC Middle East's booth attracted a large number of visitors to participate in the lively event.
