Recently, the Central Utility Complex (CUC) of Egypt's CBD project in New Administrative Capital, constructed by CSCEC, achieved successful operation of its cooling equipment. The entire cooling system is running smoothly, marking that the CUC has the capability to provide cooling to all individual units.
The CUC's cooling pipeline spans a total length of 6 kilometers, utilizing pre-insulated pipes with a maximum diameter of 1.4 meters. The entire pipeline incorporates a leak detection system. The project is equipped with advanced touchscreen automated control systems for chillers, 6 cooling towers, 18 water pumps, along with water treatment and automatic dosing systems. It stands as Egypt's second-largest energy center.
With the successful startup of the CUC's cooling units, the CUC now has the capability to provide cooling to office buildings. This achievement lays a solid foundation for the phased delivery of 10 office buildings in Egypt's CBD project in New Administrative Capital.
