Recently, the urban complex project in East Africa, the Marriott Hotel at the AVIC International's headquarters base in Africa, constructed by CSCEC, has been fully operational.
Located in the core business district of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, the project covers a total construction area of 300,000 square meters. It is a urban complex project that integrates a 142-meter luxury five-star hotel, a 184-meter Grade 3A ultra-high-rise office building, four high-end commercial apartments, and supporting commercial facilities.
The Marriott Hotel, towering at 142 meters, has a total construction area of 46,000 square meters, featuring 317 guest rooms and 51 serviced apartments. The hotel's 800-square-meter column-free banquet hall, with a soaring height of 10 meters, serves as a conference facility.
Throughout the construction, the project team utilized BIM technology. Additionally, the hotel is equipped with an intelligent fire alarm system, with more than 15,000 fire detectors distributed across the hotel's 367 rooms.
The project team also introduced various energy-saving technologies, including an automatic lighting adjustment system and an intelligent water resource management system. Overall energy consumption has been reduced by 30%, significantly lowering the hotel's operational costs.
