On the morning of August 8, 2022, the groundbreaking ceremony of CSCEC-built third bidding section (Cileles-Panimbang) of the Serang-Panimbang Toll Road in Banten Province, Indonesia was held on the construction site. the minister of Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investments Affairs, the minister of Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Housing, the acting governor of Banten Province, and the CSCEC project directors attended the ceremony.
The Cileles-Panimbang section is a newly-built expressway on hills. With a length of 33 kilometers, bidirectional four 3.6-meter-wide lanes, and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour, the project has a 730-day-long contract period.

With a total length of 83.6 kilometers, the Serang–Panimbang Road connects Banten’s capital Serang in the east and the Tanjung Lesung Special Economic Zone in the west. After completion, the travel time between Jakarta and the Tanjung Lesung Special Economic Zone will be shortened from 5 to 2 hours and it will strongly promote the economic development of Banten.
