The year 2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of CSCEC. Let's take a close look at CSCEC's overseas projects in the past 40 years.

AU Conference Center

The project is located in Addis Ababa, where the AU headquarters is located. The total construction area is 51,877 square meters, including a large conference hall with 2,500 seats, a medium conference hall with 697 seats, as well as small conference halls, VIP conference rooms, multi-functional halls, emergency medical centers, and digital libraries. The project started on June 6, 2009 and was completed on December 26, 2011. The successful implementation of the project further expanded the influence of the CSCEC brand throughout Africa and the world at large. Besides, the project has won the 2012-2013 overseasLuban Award.

Sino-Congo Friendship Hospital in Congo (Brazzaville)

The project is located in Mfilou District in the northwest corner of Brazzaville, the capital of Congo (Brazzaville), including outpatient and emergency building, medical technology building, ward building, logistics support building, mortuary and guard rooms, with a total of 100 beds. It is adistrict level general hospital. The project started on October 18, 2011 and was completed on January 8, 2013. The project has greatly improved the local medical and health conditions. It is a small and beautiful project that benefits people's livelihood.

Laos National Conference Center

The project is located in the central area of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, with a total construction area of 24,899 square meters, including a 1,500-seat main conference hall, a reception hall, a 500-seat summit meeting hall, a 250-seat senior officials conference hall, a press release hall, and bilateral conference rooms. The project officially started on December 31, 2011 and was completed on October 17, 2012. It took 10 months to complete, which perfectly exemplifies CSCEC's speed. After completed, it served as the venue for the 2012 ASEM in Laos. Besides, the project won the 2012-2013 overseas Luban Award.

Athletic Stadium Restoration and Reconstruction in Grenada

The project is located in St. George, the capital of Grenada, with a total construction area of 11,607 square meters and a building height of 20.5m. The project started on December 17, 2013, and was successfully completed on October 10, 2015. On December 5, 2015, the stadium obtained the IAAF first-class certification. The stadium is the only standardized stadium in Grenada that can host international track and field events, and has become a landmark building in Grenada. Every year, many international track and field, football games, as well as domestic events and major festival celebrations are held here, which meets the needs of the Grenada's people for sports venues.

High School in Zimbabwe

The project is located in Harare, with a construction area of 7776.12 square meters, including an administrative office building, three teaching buildings, three experimental buildings, a multi-purpose hall, a power distribution room, a water pump room, guard rooms, and a sports field. The project started on May 10, 2016 and was completed on November 9, 2017. CSCEC built a high-quality, high-standard and fully functional modern middle school for Zimbabwe in 18 months, providing good learning environment for 960 local children.

Vanuatu Prime Minister's Office Building

The project is located in the capital Port Vila, including the Prime Minister's Office and its ancillary buildings, the national legal department, the labor court department, the Prime Minister's information office and other office buildings, meeting rooms, and multi-functional halls. The project started on June 15, 2016 and was completed on September 15, 2017. During the implementation of the project, the project team received several letters of thanks from the Prime Minister's Office. At the handover ceremony, Prime Minister Charlot Salwai extended gratitude to CSCECfor building a modern office building with high quality, high standard and beautiful environment for the Vanuatu government 60 days ahead of schedule.

Tunisia General Hospital

Located in Sfax and covering a building area of26,218.19 square meters, the project includes a comprehensive building for outpatient and emergency services as well as medical technology, inpatient department, administrative office building, and logistics support building. The project started on December 1, 2016, and was completed on November 30, 2019. It is a comprehensive hospital with both medical treatment and teaching functions.

Solar Project in Nepal

The project is located in and around the Nepalese government. The project distributed rooftop photovoltaic power stations on 21 buildings of government departments and institutions, and built three photovoltaic carports. The project started on November 28, 2016 and was completed on January 20, 2018. After completion, in addition to supplying daily electricity in the government compound area, it was also connected to the municipal power grid, which has effectively relieved the problem of the frequent power outages of the Prime Minister's Office of Nepal.

International Conference Center Maintenance in Mali

Located in Bamako, the capital of Mali, the project is one of the most influential and iconic buildings in Bamako. As a venue for large-scale political and cultural events in Mali, the utilization rate is extremely high. The project was first built in 1995, with a total construction area of11,800 square meters. The conference building (Building A) includes a conference room with 1,000 seats, a conference room with 200 seats, a conference room with 100 seats, and a banquet hall for 200 people. The renovation and maintenance, lasting 21 months, started on February 19, 2017 and was completed on November 19, 2018. On the basis of the original design and functions, the project team improved and upgraded the project's function. The technology and materials were upgraded on the basis of respecting and preserving the architectural style of the original conference center. After the project was handed over, people from all walks of life in Mali praised the newly decorated conference center and spoke highly of the construction quality of CSCEC.

China-Bangladesh Friendship Exhibition Center

The project is located in the northeast of Dhaka City, with a total construction land area of 8 hectares and a total construction area of 33,000 square meters. It includes an exhibition center, an open parking garage, an equipment room, two guard rooms, a ceremonial square and an outdoor parking lot. The project consists of two exhibition halls with 400 booths, a 600-square-meter multi-function hall, a 500-person restaurant, offices, prayer rooms, dormitories, children's activity areas and related functional auxiliary rooms. The project started on May 31, 2017 and was completed on December 5, 2020. After completion, it solved the problem that Bangladesh does not have a large permanent exhibition center. It is not only the fruit of good bilateral trade relations, but also the cooperation and friendship between Bangladesh and China. witness.

Solar Photovoltaic Project in Eritrea

The project is located near the east substation in Asmara. The project includes erecting photovoltaic module arrays, installing inverters and transformers, constructing inverter rooms, and laying power collection lines to supply power to Asmaraand surrounding areas. The project started on November 24, 2017 and was completed on April 24, 2018. After the project was put into use, it effectively alleviated the lack of power generation in the Eritrean capital and surrounding cities.

Morodok Techo National Stadium in Cambodia

The project is located in Phnom Penh, the capital city, covering an area of about 16.22 hectares, with a total construction area of 82,400 square meters, 55,000 seats, and reserved space for 5,000 seats. It is a super large stadium, including sports venues, stands, functional rooms, sports intelligent system and stadium-related ancillary facilities. The project started on August 31, 2017, and was completed on August 16, 2021. It is a manifestation of China-Cambodia friendship and cooperation, and will become another important landmark symbolizing China-Cambodia friendship.

Multi-Sports Complex Center in Mauritius

The project is located in the capital Port Louis. It is an international standard comprehensive sports center with a total construction area of about 58,000 square meters, including a 15,000-seat standard football field, a 5,000-seat multi-functional gymnasium, a water sports hall, a velodrome and supporting facilities. The project started on October 1, 2018 and was completed on September 25, 2019. The completion and handover of the project allowed Mauritius to have the first international standard stadium and the largest sports center in the country. The 10th Indian Ocean Island Games was held at the stadium.

China-Cambodia Friendship Medical Building in Cambodia

The project is located in the center of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. It is a 400-bed comprehensive teaching and medical building covering outpatient, emergency, medical technology, inpatient and logistics functions, with a total construction area of 33,000 square meters. The project started on October 31, 2018, and was successfully completed on December 28, 2021, two months ahead of schedule. The project is the first hospital in Cambodia with a modern medical concept of "low energy consumption and high quality", and will also become a modern public general hospital with the highest level of medical technology in the country, providing Cambodian people with a higher level of medical services.

National Higher Conservatory of Music in Lebanon

The project is located in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, with a construction area of about 26,588 square meters, including a 1,200-seat concert hall and a 600-seat music academy. The project started on December 28, 2019. The project is the first complete music academy and conservatory in Lebanon. After completion, it will help to meet the needs of hardware facilities required for teaching at the current Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music, improve the quality of education and the performance of professional orchestras and artistic exchanges in Beirut, and provide conditions for the city to hold international music exchange activities.

Rehabilitation Works on Four Senegalese Stadiums

The construction content of the project is the maintenance and upgrading of the outdoor engineering, sports facilities, building decoration, mechanical and electrical systems and equipment of four stadiums in Senegal. Among the four stadiums,Senghor Stadium is currently the largest comprehensive stadium in Senegal. It is located in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, with about 60,000 seats. After completion, it will become a large-scale stadium with complete functions and IAAF first-class venue certification, which will be the venue for Senegal to host the 2026 Summer Youth Olympics.
