The upper structure of the R&D building is supported by a 53.4-meter long-span steel truss, and its long-span structure is like a bridge on the sea.

The upper part of the truss holds a 6-storey steel structure with a self-weight load of more than 10,000 tons. With a high load, and many rigid structures, the project applies complex construction technology in its building.

In order to complete the tasks safely and efficiently, the project team adopted a 3D modeling steel structure collision analysis, selected the scheme through finite element software construction check, and set up 129 stress and 15 sets of deformation monitoring points. With a third-party real-time online monitoring, the project ensured structural and construction safety during the whole process.
