The project functions as an important service facility for the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou. CSCEC has undertaken the construction of the athletes village, the media village, the technical staff village and the related facilities, which consists of 60 individual buildings, such as resort hotels, service apartments and hotels. With a total construction area of about 66,000 square meters, it will provide comprehensive services such as food and accommodation for athletes, technical staff and press corps of the 19th Asian Games.

The project is located on the Jieshou Area of the Qiandao Lake, which is at the heart of an important global migration route for migratory birds and a priority for biodiversity conservation in China. In the face of such a beautiful and valuable ecological environment, how to build a high-standard village for the Asian Games while protecting the beautiful environment is not only the unique advantage of the project, but also a big challenge for the builders.

In the process of the construction, the project team gave full play to the advantages of ecological resources, focused on the characteristics of topography and ecological resources, and adjusted to the suitable design of mountain topography when building roads. With a proper building layout, a large number of original green space is set aside to avoid soil erosion to the greatest extent.

As an important part of the Qiandao Luneng Resort, the project is successfully selected as one of the "biodiversity 100+ global typical cases".
