The proton therapy center of Wuhan Union Medical College Hospital

The proton therapy center project of Wuhan Union Medical College Hospital, which is the first proton therapy center in central China built by CSCEC, is under construction. The modern facade of the project has taken shape.

At present, the main structure and bricking-up have been completed. In the meantime, the installation of the curtain wall, indoor machine and electricity as well as fine decoration are being carried out, in preparation for the installation of Varian equipment in June 2022.

The total construction area of the project is 25,500 square meters, which is divided into a non- proton radiotherapy area and proton radiotherapy area. The project is mainly designed for proton radiotherapy. It is a key post-epidemic project in Hubei Province. After the completion of the project, it will quickly drive and improve the cancer diagnosis and treatment in the province and even across the central China, thus filling the gap of proton therapy in central and southern China.

Recently, the Shenzhen proton therapy center project built by CSCEC was successfully completed!

This project is the first-class modernized tumor hospital in the international community with the largest scale of single building construction, the most complete equipment, the most advanced technology and the most standardized medical treatment in the Asia-Pacific region.

Located in the South City District of Longgang Center, Shenzhen City, Shenzhen proton therapy center ,with a total construction area of 35,000 square meters and 300 beds, is one of the 12 major livelihood projects in Shenzhen. It can provide a higher level of medical services for cancer patients in Shenzhen and surrounding areas, which is of great significance to enhance both the domestic and international influence of the city’s medical services.
