The CBD project of the New Administrative Capital in Egypt built by CSCEC, is located about 50 kilometers east of downtown Cairo. The project covers an area of about 0.6 million square meters, including 12 office buildings, 5 apartment buildings, 2 large hotels, as well as “the tallest building in Africa", the Iconic Tower with a height of 385.5 meters. Four years ago, it was a desert filled with sand and gravel. The new city, however, hailed as "Egypt's high-tech city of the future", is now coming into being, with buildings rising straight from the ground and soaring into the sky.
