The 11th cycle of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum (MRM) Business Award was held in Dubai Exhibition Centre at the Expo 2020 Dubai on December 9, 2021. 

H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and H.E. Abdulaziz Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber presented the award to CSCEC ME. Mr. Yu Tao, President & CEO of CSCEC ME received the award on behalf of the company and he said it was a great honor to be awarded once again, which showed CSCEC ME had become a leading company in the construction and engineering industry in Dubai and earned recognition for its excellent management and operation from the Dubai government. It also shows that overseas Chinese enterprises have been fully integrated into international business operations, becoming more and more competitive and creating a positive image. In the future, CSCEC ME will continue to maintain long-term and steady growth and strive to stand at the forefront of Chinese companies pursuing high-quality development in the Middle East.

The MRM Business Award is the highest level of recognition for business excellence that an organization can achieve in Dubai, covering seven categories, namely construction, finance, services, manufacturing, trade, re-export and transport & logistics. The award aims to recognize world-class corporations in various industries through a comprehensive assessment including strategic planning, customer relations, talent management, corporate social responsibility, business innovation and corporate governance, etc. The award encourages sustainable development in the GCC countries and thereby enhances the international reputation and influence of corporations in the Middle East. The award was initiated by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2005 and is awarded every two years. Up till now, there have been more than 1,950 companies participating in the assessment.
