The first wind turbine was successfully installed in a 10 MW distributed wind power project built by CSCEC in Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia.

The project has a total planning capacity of 10MW, and is expected to reduce the emission of about 69,000 tons of carbon dioxide, 917 tons of sulfur dioxide, 40 tons of soot and 122 tons of nitrogen oxides per year after completion, which will play a positive role in promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of the local energy structure and promoting the economic and social development of the region.
The turbine weighs 429.1 tons, with a wind turbine hub height of 100 meters, a blade length of 80.5 meters, a blade diameter of 164 meters and a hub diameter of 164 meters. Coupled with an altitude of 1145 meters, low temperature, sandy winds, narrow, curvy and undulating roads, the transportation and lifting of the turbine were very difficult.
The project team formulated a practical road construction plan and built a total of 5 km of temporary roads to ensure a smooth transportation and operation.
The successful completion of the first wind turbine installation marked the project construction achieved milestones, and accumulated valuable experience for the follow-up installation of wind power projects .
