Enriching types of business to expand new functions of a world-class exhibition

The expansion project (Phase IV) of Canton Fair Complex is the largest reconstruction and expansion project in the history of Canton Fair Complex. After completion, the total area of Canton Fair Complex will reach 1.68 million square meters, and the newly added space can provide more than 6,000 booths, providing more exhibition platforms for exhibitors at home and abroad. On the basis of expanding the exhibition area, a new conference center and a control center will be built to provide support for holding conferences and supporting logistics, providing strong support for organizing professional forums in the industry.

Zero-carbon construction to practice the "peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality" strategy

The design of the project (Phase IV) of Canton Fair Complex adheres to the green development concept of "peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality". On the premise of not destroying vegetation and orderly construction, the original trees, flowers and plants are moved to the site of the project department and its surroundings, so as to minimize the damage to the vegetation, create a green and open "garden-style" project department, and add greenness to the ecological civilization construction with practical actions.

Technological innovation and scientific research guide green development

The design of the exhibition hall integrates the regional characteristics of Lingnan, and closely combines architectural modeling with ecological elements to form a characteristic climate adaptive spatial structure. New green construction technology is actively applied and the factory production of prefabricated units is vigorously promoted. The four characteristics of the exhibition hall, namely, "comfortable environment, intelligent system, high efficiency of equipment and green materials", are fully demonstrated by adopting fabricated units, super imposed pipe trenches and fabricated pipe corridors.

Achieve low energy consumption with green construction concept 

The team adheres to the concept of green environmental protection throughout production. According to the standard of "green construction, energy-efficient building material", air energy is used to consolidate the application of BIM-based pipeline comprehensive technology, low-carbon cooling and heating through the utilization of new energy is realized to reduce more carbon emissions and create a new model of zero-carbon exhibition hall.
