On October 19, 2021, to celebrate the completion of bridge erection works for Al Shindagha Corridor Project, a celebration ceremony was held at the project site. Representatives from the Client RTA, the Engineer Parsons and CSCEC ME attended the ceremony, about 100 representatives attended the ceremony.

Al Shindagha Corridor Project started the bridge erection work since December 31, 2020. Conquering various difficulties during the construction process, the project has successfully accomplished bridge erection work of a total 1,901 pieces of bridge segments within 290 calendar days, 100 days shorter than the planned schedule, the excellent performance in both construction efficiency and project quality surpassed expectations from the Client. Up till now, the main structure of the infrastructure project has been all completed, a crucial security of the final accomplishment.

The construction technique of box girder precast segment assembling by short-line method has been applied in the project structure construction, which is the current leading technique in the third stage of bridge industrialization and has extremely restrict requirements in technical sophistication, installation accuracy (millimeter level), and process monitoring. Al Shindagha Corridor Project is the only on-going project in the whole UAE that applied the method; the Client and the Engineers hailed the completion of structure work as a complete success.
