On July 21, Fortune China released the 2021 Fortune China 500 list, reviewing the performance and achievements of the largest Chinese listed companies in the world in the past year. China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) ranked third for the ninth consecutive year.

The total operating income of 500 listed Chinese companies in 2021 has reached 53 trillion yuan, with an increase of 5% over last year. Net profit has reached 4.3 trillion yuan, with a rise about 2% over last year. The annual revenue threshold of listed companies this year is close to 17.4 billion yuan. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual revenue threshold of the listed companies this year is 2.3% lower than that of last year. Last year, China's GDP exceeded 100 trillion yuan, and the combined income of 500 listed companies reached 53 trillion yuan, which exceeded half of China's GDP. The China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation, China National Petroleum Corporation and China State Construction Engineering Corporation still rank as the top three.

As the world's largest investment and construction group, CSCEC ranks the 18th place in the Fortune Global 500 and tops the list of Top 250 Global Contractors published by Engineering News-Record (ENR). It has always maintained the highest credit rating in the global construction industry and is the only "double trillion"(over 1 trillion in newly-signed contract value and operating income) enterprise in the global construction industry.
