CSCEC to build a new parliament building in Porto-novo, Benin

On March 31, CSCEC signed a contract to build a new parliament building in Porto-novo, Benin and the foundation stone laying ceremony was held on April 1. The owner of the project is Société Immobilière et d’Aménagement Urbain (SImAU). The main construction of the project includes a 6-story main building with a height of 31 meters, as well as ancillary buildings, including multi-function hall, internal affairs office, media office, parking lot, technical room and guardhouse, etc.

The project is an international public bidding project. CSCEC has been recognized by the owner for its excellent performance and good reputation in the central and western Africa region. The project is the first one won by CSCEC in Benin, and it is also the first large-scale landmark building in West Africa, which marks the official entry of CSCEC into Benin's market to form a benign radiation to the surrounding markets and lays a more solid foundation for the regional operation in central and western Africa.
