Recently, the CSCEC Egypt branch (CSCEC Egypt) held a press conference on Witness Happiness: CSCEC Serves Egypt Sustainability Report (2019-2020) at the New Administrative Capital of Egypt CBD Project. Han Bing, the former Minister-Counselor for Commercial Affairs of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, delivered a speech via videolink.
Han Bing said, while ensuring the health of more than 8,000 Chinese and Egyptian employees, the CBD Project has effectively sped up the construction progress. CSCEC Egypt has donated anti-epidemic supplies to the Egyptian people, participated in various public services and environmental protection, and conducted in-depth cooperation with relevant universities and cultural institutions.
The report unfolds the new practices and achievements of CSCEC in fulfilling its economic and social responsibilities in Egypt. In 2021, CSCEC Egypt will continue to deepen cooperation with all parties in Egypt and promote the construction of the CBD Project in a stable and sound manner, giving support to Egypt's Vision 2030.
During the conference, Witness Happiness: CSCEC Serves Egypt Sustainability Report (2019-2020) was interpreted through a video clip, and the representatives of relevant companies were presented with Chinese, English and Arabic versions of the report. In the meantime, the image film of the CBD Project—One Day of the CBD Project premiered.
Witness Happiness: CSCEC Serves Egypt Sustainability Report (2019-2020) focuses on localization, internationalization and diversification. Centering on epidemic prevention and control, engineering quality, employee care, environmental protection and energy conservation, and community public service, the report is a systematic review of CSCEC Egypt's concepts, practices and achievements in fulfilling its economic, environmental and social responsibilities in construction and operation.
