Four decades ago, Jane was among the first group of Egyptian college students who came to China to study Chinese. Forty years later, her daughter Mary is working for CSCEC Egypt, a subsidiary of a Chinese enterprise. They travelled thousands of miles, epitomizing the friendly exchanges between China and Egypt.
