The light rail route connects key landmarks and functional areas, such as the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, the Abu Dhabi Plaza, the Expo park, the Kazakhstan Central Concert Hall, the National Museum, and the new railway station.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov inspected the construction progress of the project. Once operational, the line will cut travel time between the two ends by nearly half, significantly enhancing transportation efficiency for Astana residents and supporting local economic and social development.
