CSCEC helped build the first zero-carbon park in Zhejiang Province, guided by a design philosophy of architecture in harmony with nature.
The company is the builder of key venues including the China Pavilion in the Wenzhou Garden Expo Park, the main venue of the 15th China International Garden Expo recently opened in Wenzhou city, Zhejiang Province.

Two century-old banyan trees standing on the site posed an early challenge. Rather than remove them, the project team worked with the client and horticultural experts to develop a comprehensive protection plan covering both the construction and operational phases, including emergency intervention measures to ensure the trees' survival.

The solution centered on an innovative protective system. Workers drove 15-meter-long Larssen sheet piles into the ground five meters outside the protected zone around the trees, creating what the team called a "root isolation shield." The barrier blocked construction slurry and vibration from reaching the tree roots. Once the underground works were complete, the piles were extracted, leaving the roots free to continue spreading outward.
